My passions have always revolved around working with and refining the human body through movement.  My previous endeavors are in the realm of professional ballet, having trained with such notable companies as the Joffrey Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Philadelphia, and Interlochen Arts (1988-1991). Years of extensive training and performing experience with artistic movement and dance then led to positions as a dance instructor and choreographer. In the early 1990’s I found myself playing hard and competing by foot and bike in the mountains of Utah, Colorado, and California. And I comfortably found my place as a personal trainer within the health and fitness industry in San Francisco during 1997. By 2000 “TAV Lifestyle” Sport Conditioning and Fitness Training was up and running strong, and I chose to move the business to beautiful Los Angeles in 2004 until 2010.

In addition to a focus on “functional” strength conditioning, my knowledge and training experience extend to the development of “FUSION by TAVLifestyle” --Group Outdoor Athletic Sport Conditioning Program that I successfully designed and ran in LA for 7 years; Individual-Sport Specific Training; SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness); Off-Season Training; Post-Rehab and Injury Prevention. As an instructor of group fitness, I have taught additional classes in Ski Conditioning; Spin; and Dance Fitness.

Currently residing in New York City, and coaching/choreographing dancers of The Joffrey Ballet School, Broadway Dancer Center, and independently.

My personal interests include laughter, a love of life, and any outdoor adventures by foot, mountain bike, snowboard, skis, rollerblades, and in or on the water. Plus, I am active participant and lover of the cultural and performing arts.
